En Route to Comic-Con

This is my first trip on my own since I found out I was pregnant with my five-year-old son, so I suppose I’m due, even though I miss my children already. I was hoping to write on the plane, but that’s unlikely to happen as there’s a baby behind me. I’m so programed to hearing little noises and thinking that something needs to be done, even though it’s not my little guy, I’m finding it hard to concentrate on anything else.

My flight is four-and-a-half hours, and I have wifi onboard. Maybe I’ll be able to focus eventually. I’ll be tweeting pictures from the weekend. I’m excited to meet so many online friends.

Oh, and if you haven’t clicked the links under “Read” lately, you may want to do so. You never know what you’ll find there.

I wish I could be there to meet up with you too. It’s probably for the better. I’m a compulsive hugger :)

I remember that first trip away from my (then) little ones so well. Try to push those conflicting feelings back and give yourself permission to have fun. In the long run, being able to break away will make you happier, and possibly even a better wife and mother. Easy advice to give; much, much harder to do!!
Hope you’ll tweet us lots of stories from CC.
