For many of those exchanges in the earlier chapters all the way up to the diner conversation, Edward and Bella were so totally NOT on the same page. They each picked up on different dynamics and feelings and both missed a lot of what the other was saying. Now, however, not only are they so nicely in sync, but they are starting to really *get* the other. It's been such a natural progression. You have been so adept at writing EPOV of their conversations.
