“Kate has nothing to do with us.”

“Fine, we’ll leave her out of this. You don’t find that at all morally compromising? Being involved in a complicated relationship with one woman while being in love with another? The Edward I know would never be capable of using someone for sex.”

That was it.

“You god-damned hypocrite! How do you do it? After everything you put me through, you have the audacity to sit there and judge me? You—the woman to whom I willingly gave every bit of myself, only for you to callously inform me I’d been nothing more to you than a good lay.”

“And I’m sorry for that. I don’t know how many times I can tell you I’m sorry!”

“Tell me, Bella, were you even faithful to me?”

“I’m not even going to dignify that with a response.‚”She rolled her eyes, then softened her demeanor. “I hurt you; I know that. I’m willing to own it, and I’m prepared to apologize until the end of time. Hell, I’ll even grovel. I’ll withstand anything, if it’s what it will take for you to forgive me—except that. You do not get to call me a slut.”

Thank God… I'm so ready for this chapter and Angry Edward!

I don't know how you do it but I'm beginning to root for Bella again. Not that she doesn't deserve a good lashing (hee hee- sorry I'm 12) but seriously.

Wonderful teaser! I don't know how you do it, but I still hate Bella's @ss! Sorry @ouiserb, I couldn't resist. After all, she was a wink away from a bj with random bar guy. Pardon, my old-fashioned sensibilities are showing.

In any case, I am looking forward to Edward's thoughts during this conversation. I have my own interpretation of events and I'm looking forward to seeing just how close or far away I am. Thanks for the sneak!

    EEK!!!! YAAYAYAYAYYAY

This convo sounds much more like what I would have said if I were Edward. Because Bella was being the biggest hypocrite.

I am shaking with anticipation for this conversation to take place.
    This will be hard.
Thank you so much for thinking of us and giving us this teaser.

This was a good but tough scene in AA5. Looking forward to this! Bella's done a lot of hard work to get here.

Great teaser, thank you! Is it possible for two participants of the same conversation to actually hear different words/sentences? I mean I don't remember this conversation being like this. Surely, I imagined them saying things along these lines but it was not written in AA5. Can't wait for the chapter (as always).

So funny story, I am currently sitting in Starbucks writing. A chick two rows down is reading Counterpoint on Twilighted and I am contemplating whether I should spill the beans that I love your story too.

    Small world? I think yes.
